Today was our last day in Delhi and we filled it with visits to more incredible monuments and sites. First stop was the Jama Masjid Mosque in Old Delhi. This is the largest mosque in India and can hold 25,000 people:
Next stop was Raj Ghat, the collection of memorials for the Gandhi family. It is a sprawling garden and public space with beautiful memorials to Mahatma, Indira, Sanjay, and Rajiv:
Next up was the Qutb complex - a large collection of buildings, tombs, and monuments that were occupied by many different rulers, dynasties, and religions since the 12th century. Mostly tributes to war victors as one defeated the next. We even got picked out to be interviewed as we exited. So be sure to tune in to NDTV to check us out:
On our drive to the Lotus Temple we got to experience our first rain of the trip. A brief downpour to clean off the cars and streets followed by intense heat and humidity. The temple and grounds were beautiful. I don't know if there was much praying going on inside while we were there. Mostly just marveling at the structure in strict pin-drop silence:
Nothing caps off a day visiting beautiful historic and religious landmarks like a trip to the food court:

Jen, tell us about your interview. Local News? Famous on the other side of the world. Love the pics.
